A clean, modern cafetière from Hario. A heat-resistant glass beaker sits in a sturdy black frame with a comfortable handle, and the fine stainless-steel mesh plunger gives a full-bodied, rich cup with very little sediment. This 300ml size makes 2 cups – ideal for one or two people.
Brew it: 18g coarse-ground coffee to 300ml water just off the boil. Stir, steep for 4 minutes, then press slowly.
Try it with: Masara or Halisi for a rich, chocolatey cup.
